Emporix Deploys AI Order Automation System With ACR

ACR (AmerCareRoyal)

ZUG, Switzerland & EXTON, PA — Emporix has deployed an AI-powered order automation system with ACR, reducing purchase order processing times from about eight minutes to under one minute, the companies announced.

The system uses an AI-driven orchestration layer to interpret and validate unstructured purchase order documents and trigger enterprise resource planning actions without human intervention.

The solution went live in the first quarter of 2026 as part of ACR’s broader enterprise AI strategy, according to the announcement.

ACR, formerly AmerCareRoyal, provides packaging and preparation products to industries including foodservice, sanitation, hospitality and healthcare.

The companies said the automation has reduced handling time by up to 87% in early deployment scenarios and lowered error rates while shifting customer service work away from manual data entry.

“This initiative reflects how we’re applying enterprise AI to drive operational precision while strengthening the customer experience,” said Thai Vong, chief information officer at ACR.

ACR previously processed a portion of its purchase orders manually due to email-based workflows, despite having electronic data interchange systems in place.

Emporix said its platform enabled ACR to automate order intake without replacing existing systems, using an API-based architecture.

The project was completed in about six months and included phased implementation to test and refine the system, according to the companies.

Emporix also supports additional ACR capabilities, including a customer portal, return management processes and digital asset management, with plans to expand automation into checkout and account services.

The companies said the initiative aligns with broader business process automation strategies that integrate artificial intelligence into operational workflows.
