WEST CHESTER, PA — A. Duie Pyle has unveiled the winners of its first-ever Brokerage Carrier of the Year Awards, a new recognition program aimed at spotlighting the carrier partners the company credits with keeping customer supply chains moving in an increasingly complex logistics environment.

The awards honor standout partners across four categories: Pool Carrier of the Year, Box Truck Carrier of the Year, Carrier of the Year and Excellence in Partnership. Company officials said the initiative reflects a growing emphasis on collaboration, transparency and reliability within Pyle’s brokerage operations.

“Our customers depend on us to keep their supply chains moving, and we can’t do that without a rock-solid carrier network,” said Craig Lough, director of strategic planning at A. Duie Pyle. “We created these awards to recognize the partners that don’t just meet the standard, but consistently go above and beyond to solve problems before they reach the customer.”

The 2025 Pool Carrier of the Year award went to Best Express, which posted a 98 percent on-time delivery rate with zero claims, a performance Pyle cited as a benchmark for proactive communication and operational reliability.

Oneil & Sharome Trucking LLC was named Box Truck Carrier of the Year after establishing itself as a trusted in-house carrier for one of Pyle’s key customers, earning praise for consistency, flexibility and seamless execution.

Carrier of the Year honors were awarded to Total Transportation of Mississippi, recognized for handling a wide range of transportation needs, from long-term freight to pop-up projects and driver shortage backfills, while maintaining what Pyle described as a solutions-oriented approach.

Velija Trucking LLC received the Excellence in Partnership award, marking more than a decade as a trusted carrier partner. Pyle cited the company’s dependable service, clear communication and collaborative mindset as central to its long-term success.

By formally recognizing top performers, Pyle said it is setting a higher bar for the future of its brokerage operations.
