WAYNE, PA — Celebree School marked the opening of its newest early childhood education center on September 29 in Wayne, bringing its play-based, curriculum-driven approach to families at 983 Old Eagle School Road.
The school is operated by father-son team Louis and Michael Sapperstein, who previously opened a Celebree location in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood. Louis, an accountant with more than 50 years of experience, and Michael, a former CPA who transitioned into early childhood education, said the Wayne opening reflects their commitment to expanding access to high-quality early learning.
“As a father and an uncle, I’ve always loved being around kids and helping them learn and grow,” Michael Sapperstein said. “What began as a lifelong passion has now become a reality with the opening of our second Celebree School. We’re proud to bring this nurturing environment to families in Wayne and excited to be part of the community.”
The school serves children from six weeks to five years old with programs designed to foster physical, social, emotional, and academic development. In keeping with Pennsylvania’s early education standards, its curriculum emphasizes both classroom instruction and family engagement, preparing children for kindergarten and beyond.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Celebree School operates with the guiding philosophy to “Grow People Big and Small™.” Its approach blends structured curriculum with age-appropriate play, projects, and activities aimed at developing social skills, values, and a love of learning. Parents are welcome to visit the school at any time, with flexible care options offered both part time and full time.
Richard Huffman, founder and CEO of Celebree School, said the Sappersteins exemplify the company’s mission. “They bring a deep commitment to children, families, and the community that perfectly reflects our mission to Grow People Big and Small, and we look forward to seeing Wayne families flourish with the support of our dedicated team and enriching programs.”
The Wayne location adds to Celebree’s growing footprint in Pennsylvania, offering families another option for early education rooted in stability, connection, and whole-child development.
