MALVERN, PA — Customers left with unusable gift cards after Iron Hill Brewery’s sudden bankruptcy and closure can now find partial relief at Bomba ¡Tacos + Tequila, which is honoring the cards for a limited-time discount offer.
The regional restaurant chain announced it will accept Iron Hill Brewery’s physical gift cards—regardless of their remaining balance—for a one-time 25% discount on purchases up to $1,000. The offer applies at Bomba’s two Pennsylvania locations in Malvern and Newtown.
Iron Hill abruptly shuttered all 15 of its brewery and restaurant locations in September, citing bankruptcy proceedings that left many customers and employees without recourse. The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office has since advised affected consumers to contact their credit card providers to dispute charges and to file complaints with the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
Bomba said guests participating in the promotion will retain their Iron Hill cards in case the company later announces refunds or settlements through the bankruptcy process.
Known for its globally inspired tacos, scratch-made cocktails, and vibrant dining atmosphere, Bomba operates locations at The Grove in Malvern and at 2930 S. Eagle Road in Newtown. The restaurant offers lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and happy hour service.
