EXTON, PA — Bentley Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: BSY) announced it has opened submissions for its 2026 Year in Infrastructure event and YII Awards program, which recognizes infrastructure projects using the company’s software.

The company said submissions will be accepted through May 3 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

According to Bentley Systems, the awards program evaluates projects based on digital innovation and measurable outcomes, including improvements in efficiency, cost performance, resilience, and sustainability.

The company said more than 5,500 infrastructure projects worldwide have participated in the program over the past two decades, including developments such as the Thames Tideway Tunnel in the United Kingdom, the Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway in China, and the Ontario Line subway in Canada.

“Originally, the Bentley awards recognized designers who used 3D technology to drive efficiency,” said Monica Schnitger, founder and president of Schnitger Corporation. She added the program now assesses how projects use data throughout their lifecycle, from planning through construction and operations.

Bentley Systems said submissions are reviewed by independent panels of industry experts and are open to projects of any size or stage that use its software.

The company said finalists will be announced in August and invited to present their projects at the Year in Infrastructure event in Singapore on October 6 and 7, where category winners will be named.
