MALVERN, PA — The Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation has named the recipients of its 2025 scholarship program, awarding more than $120,000 to residents from the organization’s military, residential, and student housing portfolios. This marks the program’s 18th consecutive year of supporting residents pursuing higher education.

Recipients were chosen based on academic performance, leadership, community service, and career aspirations. The scholarships are helping students pursue degrees and certifications in fields such as healthcare administration, nursing, criminology, and social work.

“This program is one of the most meaningful ways we give back to our residents,” said Linda Bradley, a Board Member of the Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation. “In line with our We Care culture, we’re not just supporting education—we’re investing in stronger communities.”

For residents like Isabelle Scott, a scholarship recipient at Minot AFB Homes, the impact of the program is deeply personal. “It’s a big relief. Being 8 months pregnant and trying to go to school, the scholarship takes a lot of weight off our shoulders and is a big help,” said Scott.

Since its launch in 2007, the Foundation’s scholarship program has steadily grown, providing over $1.9 million in financial support to residents working toward college degrees, technical certifications, and other higher education goals.

The program continues to reflect Balfour Beatty’s commitment to fostering education and building communities, providing residents with the tools and opportunities to reach their full potential.
