WAYNE, PAA Taste of Britain has introduced a new Group Gatherings program aimed at making weekday afternoons more social — and a little sweeter — for friends, colleagues, and community groups.

Beginning this fall, parties of five or more can reserve tables Monday through Thursday at 3:00 p.m. or later to receive 10% off their total dining room bill. Reservations for up to 16 guests can be made directly through Resy, while larger parties can coordinate with the restaurant’s management team.

“No special arrangements are required — simply book a table for five or more guests at 3:00 p.m. or later, Monday through Thursday, and your server will happily apply a 10% discount to your dining room check,” said Debbie Pierce, co-owner of A Taste of Britain.

Pierce noted that the new program was designed to give people an easy way to reconnect in person. “We wanted to create a fun and affordable way for people to connect in real life,” she said. “Whether it’s book clubs, co-workers, moms’ groups, or friends looking for a weekday treat, Group Gatherings are a perfect excuse to slow down and share a pot of tea and something delicious to eat.”

Located in the Eagle Village Shops in Wayne, A Taste of Britain has been serving the Main Line community since 1991. The restaurant is known for its full afternoon tea service, traditional British fare, and curated selection of imported groceries and gifts.
