MALVERN, PA — 3Si Security Systems announced that security industry leader Peter Giacalone has joined the company as a Board Advisor, bringing more than four decades of experience in electronic security monitoring and public safety innovation.
The company, which partners with more than 10,300 law enforcement agencies nationwide, provides technology solutions that support crime response and officer safety. Over the past 20 years, 3Si’s platforms have contributed to the arrests of more than 21,000 violent offenders.
Most recently, 3Si launched its DirectToDispatch™ (DTD) solution, which integrates video, audio, and GPS tracking to deliver real-time media intelligence directly to police dispatchers and first responders. The system provides verified situational data to improve response times and reduce risk in the field.
“3Si has always stood apart in its ability to deliver trusted, real-time data to the people who need it most: law enforcement,” said Matt Kushner, CEO of 3Si. “Peter’s history of innovation and strategic leadership in security monitoring will help us strengthen and expand DirectToDispatch™, ensuring we continue to set the standard for supporting law enforcement and the industry with innovation that contributes to a safer world.”
“I am proud to bring my experience to 3Si,” said Giacalone. “Law enforcement is inundated daily with hundreds of thousands of calls, many of which are false. By delivering verified crime data directly to dispatch, 3Si helps reduce noise, improve response times, and, most importantly, strengthen officer and public safety. Their innovation is making a real difference in protecting people and communities.”
In addition to Giacalone, 3Si’s Advisory Board includes Mike Lamb, a veteran in retail loss prevention; Bill Bozeman, a longtime leader in electronic security; and Richard Long, a retired law enforcement executive and Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
