PHILADELPHIA, PA — Bank of America is expanding its “Golf with Us” program in Greater Philadelphia, offering free one-year memberships to Youth on Course for children ages 6 to 18, allowing access to rounds of golf for $5 or less, the bank announced.

Enrollment for the program is open through June 15, 2026, at https://www.bofa.com/golfwithus, with participation capped at 150,000 new members nationwide.

The program provides access to thousands of courses across Bank of America’s 97 markets, including several in Chester County such as Downingtown Country Club, Honeybrook Golf Club and Play-a-Golf Malvern.

In its first year, the initiative enrolled nearly 100,000 participants nationwide, including more than 4,200 in Greater Philadelphia, who collectively played 3,441 rounds in the region.

Bank of America said it aims to increase enrollment to 150,000 participants this year while continuing to expand Youth on Course’s municipal course network.

Participants receive access to discounted rounds as well as additional benefits, including a registered handicap index through the United States Golf Association’s Golf Handicap Information Network, complimentary access to GolfPass, and development opportunities through the PGA of America REACH Foundation.

New benefits for 2026 include $5 golf simulator rentals and free lessons from PGA professionals at Golf Galaxy and Dick’s House of Sport locations.

The program also includes free clinics in 25 markets, where youth can receive instruction and participate in skill-building activities led by professional athletes and other instructors.

Rory McIlroy, the reigning Masters champion, will donate $500,000 to Youth on Course to fund 70,000 rounds for participants.

“Opening access to the game is key to giving more kids that opportunity,” McIlroy said, noting the sport’s role in teaching patience and resilience.

Youth on Course, a nonprofit founded in 2006, provides young people access to golf at reduced costs through a network of more than 2,000 courses across the United States, Canada and Australia.
