WEST CHESTER, PA — Springtime fun is taking flight at the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center as families are invited to celebrate the season with a unique Easter egg hunt surrounded by historic aircraft.
The museum’s annual AHMEC Egg Hunt returns Sunday, March 29, offering children and families a chance to enjoy classic holiday traditions alongside hands-on learning and aviation-themed experiences.
A High-Flying Twist on an Easter Tradition
Designed for children ages 1 through 12, the event will feature three separate egg hunts tailored to different age groups, giving every child a chance to participate in the excitement.
Beyond the egg hunts, families can explore visiting exhibits, take part in crafts and interactive activities, and even bring home free seed germination packets—adding an educational and seasonal touch to the day.
A special highlight will be the appearance of Heli Hopper the Rabbit, who will be on hand for photos and meet-and-greets, joined by representatives from local organizations helping to create a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.
Fun for the Whole Family
Set inside one of the nation’s premier aviation museums, the event offers a unique backdrop where families can combine holiday fun with a glimpse into the history of flight. The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center is home to one of the largest collections of rotorcraft in the world, making it a one-of-a-kind destination for visitors of all ages.
