KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Longwood Gardens has opened its gates to one of its most visually striking holiday displays yet, unveiling a gemstone-inspired A Longwood Christmas that surrounds visitors in shimmering color, radiant light, and sweeping seasonal artistry. The show runs through Jan. 11, 2026.
This year’s celebration transforms both the conservatories and outdoor grounds into a world of sapphire blues, ruby reds, emerald greens, and brilliant gold. Towering trees, crystal accents, and meticulously designed lighting cast shifting reflections across the displays, offering a new perspective from every vantage point.
Inside the Music Room, an 18-foot Fraser fir rises from an oversized jewelry box, its dramatic form crowned with a deep ruby bow. Gilded mirrors, mineral specimens, and gleaming ornaments create an atmosphere reminiscent of a grand holiday gala.
Outdoors, more than half a million lights illuminate the landscape. Decorated trees and glowing water features guide guests past signature sights, including the Wildlife Tree adorned with faux pearls and gilded oyster shells, oversized floating gems on the Large Lake, and the Italian Water Garden’s synchronized light display. The Meadow Tunnel returns for 2025, and the Garden Railway continues its tradition of winding through a miniature Longwood landscape.
A Longwood Christmas is open with timed admission tickets required for all guests. Tickets cost $45 for adults and $25 for youth ages 5 to 18. Members receive free timed reservations, while Gardens Premium Members and Innovators may enter without reservations. Tickets and reservations are available at longwoodgardens.org.
