KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The spirit of the season comes alive once again as Kennett Collaborative and Square Roots Collective present the Holiday Village Market at The Creamery of Kennett Square. Now in its ninth year, this enchanting open-air market will welcome guests on December 6, 7, 13, and 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a festive experience filled with shopping, entertainment, and community cheer.
Drawing more than 14,000 visitors annually, the Holiday Village Market has become one of Chester County’s most cherished seasonal traditions. Guests can sip hot chocolate, mulled wine, and seasonal cocktails while exploring a winter wonderland where snow gently falls—even on the sunniest days. Each day features a rotating lineup of 40 vendors curated by Meredith Langer, showcasing more than 130 artisans, makers, and small businesses offering handcrafted goods, vintage finds, and gourmet treats.
“Every artist and small business at Holiday Village Market has an interesting story. This is where I know I can find meaningful, unique gifts for my friends and family,” said Daniel Embree, Executive Director of Kennett Collaborative. “The Market has become a beloved tradition because it’s more than just shopping, it’s about building community. In Kennett Square we’ve created the small town vibes we love from our favorite holiday movies, but it’s not just a Hollywood effect; it’s the real deal.”
Entertainment will fill the air throughout the day with visits from Santa, balloon twisting, and face painting—making it a perfect destination for families and friends alike. After enjoying the Market on Birch Street, visitors are encouraged to stroll through Kennett Square’s vibrant downtown for even more festive shopping and dining.
“The Creamery loves hosting Holiday Village Market each year because it complements our vision of reimagining this historic space as a hub for art, culture, history, and fun,” said Stephanie Almanza, President of Square Roots Collective. “It’s a chance to immerse guests in the creativity of Kennett Square and illustrate how businesses and nonprofit organizations can work together for the good of our community.”
The Creamery is located at 401 Birch Street, with parking available at the Municipal Garage (100 E. Linden Street) and Borough Hall (600 S. Broad Street). A complimentary shuttle will transport guests between parking areas, the Market, and downtown Kennett Square.
