The mint-chocolate mashup that sparked long lines and social media buzz is back — and this time, it comes with a new spin.

Wendy’s announced that its fan-favorite Thin Mints Frosty returns nationwide beginning February 16, joined by a brand-new creation: the limited-time Girl Scouts Thin Mints Frosty Fusion.

The seasonal collaboration with Girl Scouts of the USA arrives just in time for Girl Scout Cookie season, pairing one of the nation’s most recognizable frozen desserts with its best-selling cookie.

The new Thin Mints Frosty Fusion blends Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty with crushed Thin Mints cookies and a minty cookie crumble sauce, creating a layered, chocolate-and-mint dessert experience. The returning Thin Mints Frosty Swirl features the Vanilla Frosty swirled and topped with the same cookie-inspired sauce. Both treats are also available with a Chocolate Frosty base.

“Thin Mints and Frosty fans, we’re so back,” the company said in announcing the limited-time offerings.

More than 3,600 Wendy’s restaurants nationwide are also expected to host Girl Scout Cookie booths during National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, February 20–22, and throughout the broader cookie season. Customers can locate participating restaurants through girlscoutcookies.org.

“The friendship between Wendy’s and Girl Scouts of the USA is even sweeter this year with two ways to experience a Thin Mints Frosty with both our Frosty Swirl and Frosty Fusion options,” said Lindsay Radkoski, U.S. Chief Marketing Officer for The Wendy’s Company. “For so many fans, Girl Scout Cookies evoke cherished childhood memories. By bringing together these iconic treats, Wendy’s celebrates the nostalgia our fans love while giving families a delicious reason to gather, connect, and create new memories together.”

Wendy Lou, chief revenue officer of Girl Scouts of the USA, said the partnership extends beyond dessert innovation.

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Wendy’s once again to celebrate two icons coming together — the beloved Frosty and now the Frosty Fusion — in a way that delights fans and supports our girls,” Lou said. “What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that Wendy’s restaurants are also opening their doors to Girl Scouts, giving troops space to sell cookies, connect with their communities and build the skills that help them reach their goals.”

The limited-time menu items underscore the growing trend of fast-food brands leaning into nostalgia-driven collaborations, particularly during high-traffic seasonal sales events. For Wendy’s, the return of the Thin Mints Frosty — now in two forms — blends brand loyalty with community engagement at the height of cookie season.

For fans of mint, chocolate and a familiar frozen cup, the countdown has officially begun.
