PHILADELPHIA, PA — Pennsylvania’s dining scene is in the national spotlight after four Philadelphia restaurants secured places on OpenTable’s Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2025, a list built from more than 10 million verified diner reviews and reservation data. The recognition positions the Commonwealth — and Philadelphia in particular — as a rising force in the country’s evolving culinary landscape.

Fiorella Philadelphia, Mawn, Parc, and Saloon Restaurant represent the state on this year’s list, each earning acclaim for distinctive cooking styles, strong local followings and high volumes of five-star diner ratings. Their inclusion underscores the depth and diversity of Pennsylvania’s dining experiences, from refined Italian traditions to new-wave global influences.

The honors arrive as OpenTable releases its annual ranking, a nationwide snapshot of the restaurants that diners booked, reviewed and revisited most consistently between September 2024 and August 2025. The data-driven list spans 42 cities in 24 states and territories, identifying both longstanding favorites and emerging hotspots.

Debby Soo, CEO of OpenTable, said this year’s selections highlight the power of restaurants to bring people together. She emphasized that 2025’s list includes both elite destinations and intimate neighborhood spots that resonated deeply with diners.

Chicago leads the national tally with 16% of all honorees, followed by New York’s 10 standout entries. Yet regional variety is a defining feature of the 2025 ranking, with notable restaurants spread across the East Coast, Midwest, South and Caribbean territories. Nearly half of the honorees are newcomers, reflecting diners’ appetite for fresh concepts and evolving culinary identities.

OpenTable’s analysis also reveals a rising preference for smaller, design-forward dining rooms. Many restaurants on the list seat fewer than 75 guests — a trend supported by new consumer research showing 48% of Americans favor cozy, locally styled interiors.

Beyond major metros, exceptional dining experiences continue to emerge nationwide. Restaurants in Noblesville, Indiana; Winter Garden, Florida; Carlsbad, California; and Great Falls, Virginia illustrate how high-level cooking is taking root far from traditional restaurant centers.

Together with OpenTable’s 2026 Dining Trends Report, the Top 100 offers a data-backed window into how Americans dined this year — and affirms Pennsylvania’s growing presence among the nation’s most sought-after culinary destinations.
