Fans Crown Pennsylvania’s Top Super Bowl Food Spots in New Statewide Poll

Super Bowl

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania football fans say Super Bowl Sunday is no longer just about the game — it’s about the food — and a new statewide survey pinpoints where the feast matters most.

A poll of 3,474 adults conducted by Gambling ’N Go ranked the top Pennsylvania venues where fans most want to watch the Super Bowl, specifically for the food, elevating three familiar names from Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg to the top of the list.

Philadelphia’s Wicked Wolf claimed the No. 1 spot, edging out Mike’s Beer Bar in Pittsburgh and P.J. Whelihan’s Pub + Restaurant in Harrisburg. The results reflect what respondents described as a growing expectation that Super Bowl viewing should be paired with substantial, high-quality meals that can carry fans from kickoff to the final whistle.

The survey found that fans increasingly choose viewing locations based on menus designed for long, communal watching. At Wicked Wolf, respondents pointed to hearty dishes meant to be eaten gradually, allowing fans to stay planted as the game unfolds. Mike’s Beer Bar earned high marks for food built for sharing and revisiting throughout the night, while P.J. Whelihan’s stood out for comfort-driven options that suit a stop-and-start pace between big plays.

Gambling ’N Go said the results underscore how Super Bowl Sunday has evolved into a full-scale dining event, with food playing a central role in how fans experience the game.

“Watching football’s biggest game has become as much a food event as a football event,” said Leo Coleman of Gambling ’N Go. “People aren’t just picking venues for big screens; they are choosing places where the food feels like part of the tradition. This survey shows exactly where fans think the feast lives up to the football.”

Beyond Pennsylvania, the survey highlighted popular Super Bowl food destinations across the country, from neighborhood taverns in New Mexico and New York to sports bars in Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, each praised for menus that support long, high-energy game watches.

But within Pennsylvania, the message was clear: when it comes to Super Bowl Sunday, fans say the right plate can matter just as much as the final score.
