COATESVILLE, PA — The City of Coatesville‘s summer events are heating up with four popular events, all free to the public. The Sounds of Summer Music Series begins this Friday, July 25, and continues on Friday, August 15, and Friday, September 19 at Gateway Park (22 Lincoln Highway in Coatesville). Concerts are free to the public and happen from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The music series, which is produced by the Coatesville City Council and community volunteers, features family-friendly entertainment, DJs, and musical acts including Jimmy Fingers & Friends, Gospel All Stars, and The Best Kept Soul.
On August 16, 2025, the 9th annual Unity Day celebration gets underway with family fun, food, entertainment, and fireworks, all while celebrating community diversity and inclusiveness. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Dre Money, owner of 50/50 L.G. Entertainment. Dre Money will also emcee the City’s first DJ cypher.
Kids will enjoy a Jump Around, flag football, slides, and other activities, including a fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. Picnic blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Admission is free to the public.
