WAYNE, PA — The Wayne Oratorio Society will once again fill the sanctuary of Wayne Presbyterian Church with the glorious sounds of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Under the direction of John Grecia, this cherished annual performance has become a cornerstone of Chester County’s holiday season, uniting voices, instruments, and hearts in celebration of the enduring beauty of Handel’s masterpiece.

Performed by a 150-voice chorus, a 40-piece professional orchestra, and distinguished soloists, the concert will bring to life the timeless majesty of one of the most beloved works in the choral canon. “Messiah, written in 1741, expresses the power of Handel’s imagination, wealth of ideas, depth of inspiration, and the variety of invention that continues to astonish today,” said Grecia, Director of the Wayne Oratorio Society. “Handel’s masterpiece has been presented many thousands of times all over the world. Once again, 284 years later, we are pleased to perform this great work for our audiences in Wayne and other communities.”

Admission to the performance is free and open to the public, with a free-will offering to support the Wayne Oratorio Society. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. each evening. The church is located at 125 E.
