KENNETT SQUARE, PA — One of the region’s most celebrated craft beer traditions is gearing up for a milestone year as Kennett Winterfest prepares to return on February 28, 2026. With more than 60 breweries, local food vendors, and live music on tap, organizers expect the 14th annual event to draw another sellout crowd.
Hosted by Kennett Collaborative, Winterfest has grown into a signature winter attraction for Chester County, offering an open-air mix of small-batch beer, community gathering, and local flavor. Attendees can expect unlimited tastings from top regional brewers, along with food trucks and restaurant partners that help anchor the town’s growing culinary scene.
The festival’s coveted Definitely Connoisseur (DefCon) VIP session will also return, giving early-access ticket holders first pours and exclusive brews not available during the main event. The DefCon session typically sells out within minutes, underscoring its reputation as one of the most in-demand craft beer experiences in the area.
Tickets for both sessions go on sale Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. through kennettbrewfest.com. Organizers recommend that enthusiasts act quickly.
Kris Gabbard, chair of Kennett Collaborative’s board, said Winterfest remains one of the organization’s most meaningful community events. Gabbard described the festival as a curated blend of craft beer culture and small-town hospitality, noting that its enduring appeal lies in the way it reflects Kennett Square’s personality.
Proceeds from Winterfest support Kennett Collaborative’s year-round work, including placemaking projects and community programming aimed at strengthening the town’s economic and cultural vitality.
With more breweries, expanded offerings, and a loyal fan base, the 2026 Winterfest is positioned to deliver one of its most memorable years yet.
