KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The magic of the season will shine brighter than ever as Kennett Collaborative presents the highly anticipated 2025 Holiday Light Parade on Saturday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m. Sponsored by Kennett Square Family Dentistry, this year’s event promises the largest and most dazzling display in the parade’s history, featuring more than 100 illuminated floats, live performers, and festive attractions to kick off Chester County’s holiday celebrations.

The streets of downtown Kennett Square will sparkle as the beloved Philadelphia Woodland String Band brings its signature Mummers flair—complete with brilliant costumes, lively music, and high-energy performances sure to delight spectators of all ages. Additional entertainment will include performances by the Longwood Dance Company, Kennett High School Marching Band, the Dixie Demons Alumni Group, and the Lenape Brass Ensemble, ensuring a night filled with sound, color, and cheer.

“We’ve been blown away by the response this year—businesses, community groups, and organizations started signing up as soon as registration opened in September,” said Mary Lou Baily, Kennett Collaborative’s Development Manager. “The team is so excited to see how much the parade has grown, and with more than 13,000 people coming out to enjoy it last year, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable night to kick off the holiday season in Kennett Square. We’re especially thrilled to have the Woodland String Band joining the lineup this year and so thankful to our sponsors who make all the magic happen.”

The parade route follows State Street from Broad Street to Mill Road, with floats wrapped in lights, dancing performers, fire engines, and festive tractors filling the town with holiday spirit. The celebration concludes with Santa lighting the town tree—just as snow begins to fall in a perfectly magical finale.

“There’s a certain magic that comes over Kennett Square during the holidays,” said Daniel Embree, Executive Director of Kennett Collaborative. “From the Holiday Light Parade at the start of the season, all the way until the mushroom drops at Midnight in the Square, New Years Eve, there’s something enchanting about our town. We invite everyone to visit Kennett Square and discover the hidden gems and holiday treasures waiting for you here.”
