WEST CHESTER, PA — The sound of sleigh bells meets the rhythm of the rails this holiday season as the West Chester Railroad brings back its beloved Santa’s Express—a magical journey through the Chester Creek Valley that captures the wonder and warmth of Christmas. Running on select dates from November 22 through December 21, 2025, this festive 75-minute ride promises joyful memories for families, friends, and believers of all ages.
The holiday adventure begins at Market Street Station in West Chester, where Santa himself greets passengers before boarding the beautifully decorated, heated train bound for Glen Mills and back. Along the way, guests can relax and take in the scenic winter landscapes while enjoying live holiday entertainment. Santa makes his rounds throughout the train, visiting every passenger—so don’t forget your wish lists! Refreshments will also be available for purchase on board.
For an elevated experience, passengers can reserve seating in the Table Car, featuring private tables, extra legroom, and a live musician performing festive favorites exclusively for your car—a cozy, intimate way to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.
