GLENMOORE, PA — Families in northern Chester County will have a chance to celebrate the season, meet local educators, and enjoy some Easter-themed fun later this month as Ducklings Early Learning Center in Glenmoore opens its doors to the community.
On Saturday, March 28, the center will host a spring open house featuring family-friendly activities including an Easter egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, and guided tours for parents interested in learning more about the school’s programs.
The event is organized by center owner Brié Anna Gricco, an early childhood education professional and local parent who says the goal is to create a welcoming opportunity for families to experience the center firsthand.
“As a Ducklings parent, I have witnessed firsthand how the Ducklings’ philosophy supports every aspect of a child’s development path, lays the foundation for a lasting love for learning, and lets children play and explore at their own pace while integrating nurturing structure,” Gricco said. “Our teachers are our greatest asset, and I have thoughtfully selected individuals I would want guiding and caring for my own children—who have not only earned early childhood education credentials but who most importantly have a love for education.”
Located at 1556 Horseshoe Pike, the Glenmoore center serves children from six weeks through six years of age. Classrooms are designed to support early learning through guided activities led by trained educators, with spaces that include a library, a large indoor gym for activities and events, and two outdoor playgrounds.
The school’s programming follows its Here We Grow! curriculum, which blends play-based learning with structured educational experiences intended to support social, emotional, and academic development during the early childhood years.
Gricco brings more than 16 years of experience in early education to the Glenmoore location. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Widener University, along with a Master of Education as a Reading Specialist. She has also worked with Widener’s Child Development Center, participated in Pennsylvania PreK Counts initiatives, served on the board of the Delaware County Early Childhood Education Association, and volunteered in school and community programs.
