IMMACULATA, PA — Creativity, style, and student talent will take center stage this March as Immaculata University hosts its annual IU Fashion Show, an evening that brings together emerging student designers and established local fashion professionals for a vibrant celebration of fashion and artistry.
Set inside Immaculata’s Great Hall, the event highlights the work of students in the university’s Fashion Merchandising program, part of the Major-Payton School of Business. The show offers students a chance to present original designs while collaborating with regional designers and boutiques, giving the community a glimpse into the next generation of fashion talent.
“The IU Fashion Show is a celebration of our students’ talent, creativity and hard work,” said Lina Castro, director of Immaculata’s Fashion Merchandising Program. “It’s a unique opportunity to showcase their work alongside our talented local designers and highlight the skills our students are developing in this program.”
Guests attending the event will experience a full evening of fashion featuring designs from Allen Paca Knitwear, DAM Fashion, Laucara, and GlambyRissh. The runway will also showcase clothing from sustainable and local boutiques Bobbles and Lace and Greene Street, along with curated styling by fashion expert Peggy Conlon.
In addition to professional collections, Immaculata fashion merchandising students will present original creations developed through their coursework, offering attendees a firsthand look at the creativity and technical skills being cultivated in the program.
Beyond the runway, the event will also feature vendor tables where guests can explore student fashion projects and connect directly with current students in the program. Light refreshments and live music will add to the festive atmosphere, creating an engaging evening for fashion lovers and community members alike.
