MEDIA, PA — Chandeep Kaur, an Upper Darby resident and recent graduate of Delaware County Community College, has been awarded a two-year, full-tuition scholarship to Neumann University, where she will study Criminal Justice and minor in Cybersecurity.
Kaur, who completed her associate degree in Administration of Justice in May, built a strong record of leadership and service during her time at DCCC. She represented the college as a student ambassador and mentor, held leadership roles in the Women’s Soccer Club and Multicultural Club, and earned the Outstanding Student Achievement Award. A Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member, she also volunteered extensively in the community.
Originally from India and raised in Greece, Kaur serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Llanerch Fire Company and works with the Red Cross on fire prevention programs. The scholarship will allow her to finish her bachelor’s degree while continuing her commitment to public service.
