MEDIA, PA — Delaware County Community College (DCCC) has earned the distinction of being named a 2025 Top Workplace by The Philadelphia Inquirer, reflecting the institution’s commitment to its employees and mission of student success. The prestigious recognition highlights organizations in the Philadelphia region that foster positive work environments, as evaluated by employee feedback.
The Top Workplaces program, now in its 16th year, recognizes organizations with 50 or more employees that achieve exceptional results in a confidential survey administered by Energage LLC, an employee engagement technology partner. The survey assesses critical aspects of the employee experience, including respect, growth opportunities, and empowerment.
“We are proud to be among the employers in the region who believe that taking care of employees is the foundation of success,” said DCCC president Dr. Marta Yera Cronin. “This recognition reflects what I already knew—that DCCC is more than a place to work. It is a place where we align in our common mission of student success, support of each other in our shared goals, and where we continue to build a culture of inclusion, empowerment and growth.”
Based in Marple Township, DCCC serves students across multiple locations, including centers in Downingtown, Upper Darby, and West Grove. Looking ahead, the college is planning to expand its reach with the opening of a new Southeast Center in Drexel Hill, scheduled to welcome students in January 2026.
Energage CEO Eric Rubino underscored the value of the recognition, stating, “Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees. That’s something to be proud of.”
This award reflects DCCC’s dedication to cultivating a workplace culture that prioritizes inclusion, support, and professional growth, forming a foundation from which employees can thrive and contribute to the college’s overarching goal of academic excellence and student success.
