SELINSGROVE, PA — Susquehanna University graduate Dylan Raymond of Glenmoore, Chester County, has been named to Graphic Design USA’s prestigious Students to Watch list, highlighting top emerging talent from design programs across the country.
Raymond, who graduated in May with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design, was recognized alongside fellow Susquehanna student Molly McGuire of Towson, Maryland. The list honors more than 100 standout students who demonstrate exceptional creativity and promise in the field.
A lifelong artist, Raymond first explored visual storytelling through photography before shifting his focus to design. He holds an associate degree in photography from Delaware County Community College and completed an internship at Cross Creative Co. in 2024. Reflecting on his passion, Raymond said, “Whether it be design, photography or sketching, the drive to work through the process from idea to creation gives me immense satisfaction.”
Raymond and McGuire were nominated by Susquehanna faculty members Amanda Lenig, associate professor and department head of art & design, and James Henderson, assistant professor of art & design. Henderson praised the pair for embodying the program’s core values, describing their work as thoughtful, visionary, and driven by strong creative ethics.
Graphic Design USA is a leading industry publication serving the graphic design and broader creative community. Susquehanna’s graphic design program has also been recognized as a Top Design School by the magazine, underscoring the university’s commitment to fostering excellence in visual communication.
Raymond’s recognition not only celebrates his personal achievements but also highlights the strength of Chester County’s creative talent and the opportunities available to young artists in the region.
