COATESVILLE, PA — The Chester County Intermediate Unit has promoted veteran educator Victor W. Brown, Jr. to principal of the CCIU Learning Center, marking a key leadership appointment for one of Chester County’s primary hubs serving students with diverse learning needs.

Brown, who has spent more than 20 years in education, has been serving as interim principal this school year and previously worked as assistant principal at the Learning Center. His background includes extensive experience in special education, administration, and student services — a combination that CCIU leaders say will help advance the center’s mission of personalized learning and inclusion.

“Victor is a proven leader who understands the importance of building strong relationships with students, families, and staff,” said Dr. George F. Fiore, executive director of the CCIU. “His experience in special education and commitment to excellence will help guide the CCIU Learning Center toward continued success.” Brown’s career has included leadership roles in the Wilson and Upper Merion Area School Districts, where he oversaw student support systems, professional development, and restorative practices.
