COATESVILLE, PA — The Alliance for Health Equity (AHE) is excited to announce, “Wellness & Welcome”, a free community block party and open house celebrating the arrival of Union Community Care, now serving Coatesville and Chester County as the new Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) at AHE’s Brandywine Center (744 East Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA, 19320). The event will take place outside AHE’s Brandywine Center and along Chester Ave. on Saturday, August 2nd from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and is open to all!

Union Community Care (Union) officially opened its doors on July 1, 2025, replacing ChesPenn Health Services as the new primary healthcare provider at AHE’s Brandywine Center. This celebration marks a new chapter for accessible, compassionate, and community-centered care in Coatesville and the greater Chester County region. “It’s a refreshing moment for Coatesville, as Union brings a holistic, whole-person model of care that prioritizes dignity, relationships, and wellness, meeting people where they are and treating more than just symptoms,” said Moira Gassenmeyer, Integrated Health Director at The Alliance for Health Equity.
