Coatesville Firefighters Score Major Equipment Boost With $58K State Grant

HARRISBURG, PAState Rep. Dan Williams announced that the Coatesville Bureau of Fire has been awarded a $58,700 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, funding that will be used to purchase CPR devices and other critical lifesaving equipment.

Williams said he worked directly with the department and local officials to help secure the grant, calling the investment an important step in strengthening emergency response capabilities in Coatesville.

“These funds will have a direct impact on the Coatesville community by providing our brave firefighters with the tools they need to save lives,” Williams said. He added that he remains committed to supporting first responders and ensuring they have the resources necessary to protect residents.
