MALVERN, PA — Ocugen Inc. (NASDAQ: OCGN) will present 12-month Phase 2 results for its OCU410 gene therapy in geographic atrophy at a scientific meeting in September, putting new clinical data from the Malvern biotechnology company before retinal specialists as it advances its experimental treatment for an advanced form of dry age-related macular degeneration.
The presentation is scheduled for Sept. 24 at the Retina Society’s 59th Annual Scientific Meeting in Los Angeles. Dr. Raj K. Maturi will present safety and efficacy findings from the randomized Phase 2 ArMaDa study at 3:15 p.m. Pacific time.
OCU410 is part of Ocugen’s modifier gene therapy platform, which is designed to address disease biology by affecting multiple gene networks rather than targeting an individual genetic mutation.
The company is developing gene therapies for retinal diseases including geographic atrophy, retinitis pigmentosa and Stargardt disease.
Ahead of the scientific presentation, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Dr. Shankar Musunuri will discuss Ocugen’s gene therapy platform at two investor conferences in New York.
Musunuri is scheduled for a fireside chat at Citi’s 2026 Biopharma Back to School Conference on Sept. 9 from 3:40 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Eastern time.
He will also participate in a fireside chat at the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference on Sept. 15 from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.
