JM Search Extends Inc. 5000 Run as Revenue Rises 40%

JM Search

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — JM Search returned to the Inc. 5000 for a fourth consecutive year after increasing revenue by more than 40% from 2022 through 2025, extending the executive recruiting firm’s growth as it expands organically in private equity and other growth-oriented markets.

The annual Inc. 5000 ranks independent U.S. companies by percentage revenue growth over a three-year period.

JM Search reported that it has more than tripled in size over the past five years without acquisitions, relying instead on internal hiring to expand its recruiting platform.

The firm added 45 partners and principals in 2025, bringing additional experience across the industries, functions and ownership structures it serves.

Chief Executive Officer John Marshall tied that growth to maintaining an experienced, recruiter-led search model as the company adds scale.

“Every search is led by experienced recruiters and strengthened by collaborative teams and seasoned researchers across the firm,” Marshall stated.

JM Search completed more than 1,500 executive placements during the past 24 months, according to the company. Its clients include private-equity investors as well as other private and public companies pursuing growth or transformation.

The company did not disclose its current revenue, profitability or exact Inc. 5000 ranking in the release.

JM Search has also appeared on other recruiting-industry rankings this year, placing No. 19 on Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms and No. 11 on Hunt Scanlon Media’s 2026 Top 50 Recruiters list.

The latest Inc. 5000 appearance underscores the firm’s continued expansion through hiring rather than acquisition, with management emphasizing recruiter experience and specialized industry coverage as the operating model behind that growth.
