FusionIQ Links Sports Gaming Activity to Automated Investing

Business News

BALA CYNWYD, PA — FusionIQ is partnering with affiliated registered investment adviser IQvestment and fintech company Regen to connect sports gaming activity with automated saving and investment accounts, creating a new distribution channel for the wealth-management technology provider.

The arrangement combines Regen’s behavioral savings technology with FusionIQ’s digital wealth platform and investment services provided through IQvestment.

Regen allows users to designate a percentage of each wager, win or loss for automatic allocation to a dedicated financial account. The platform is currently being offered through sports gaming platforms, according to the companies.

Under the new integration, money accumulated through that process can move into investment portfolios, including diversified exchange-traded fund strategies and investments structured around users’ financial goals.

The model is designed to reduce the number of deliberate steps consumers must take to begin saving and investing. Rather than requiring a separate deposit decision, savings are generated alongside users’ existing gaming activity.

“Digital wealth must evolve beyond traditional channels and into the environments where consumers are most engaged,” FusionIQ Chief Executive Officer Eric Noll stated. He described the arrangement as a potential new channel for attracting investment assets.

The companies are targeting younger and digitally oriented consumers who may have limited participation in conventional investment products. Their model combines automated saving with access to professionally managed investments.

Regen Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Daniel Prior said the approach is intended to address consumers who want to save but have difficulty starting or finding a method that fits their existing behavior.

“Regen builds savings into something millions of people already do, and with FusionIQ and IQvestment, opens a clear path into investing for the long term,” Prior stated.

The companies intend the technology to be integrated into sports gaming platforms, financial technology applications and digital wallets, extending the model beyond a standalone wealth-management application.

FusionIQ provides cloud-based digital wealth-management technology, while IQvestment operates as its affiliated registered investment adviser. Regen develops technology that ties automated savings allocations to sports gaming activity.
