WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA — American Pharmacy Cooperative, Inc. (APCI) is expanding its social media strategy through a partnership with Baldwin Publishing to help independent pharmacies increase visibility and compete with national chains.

The initiative provides APCI’s 1,600 member pharmacies with access to more than 2,000 health tips and 250 recipes, along with short-form videos, graphics, and medically reviewed content designed for social media use.

The content can be customized for local audiences and is intended to support more frequent posting focused on community health, wellness, and preventive care.

APCI said the strategy is aimed at helping independent pharmacies differentiate themselves through localized engagement rather than large-scale advertising.

Danny Slade, marketing director at APCI, said, “This initiative is about delivering relevant, easy-to-understand advice on the benefits of healthy eating, home cooking, exercise and healthy habits that reinforces the trusted role neighborhood pharmacies play in community health.”

The content library includes materials optimized for formats such as short videos and graphics, covering topics including nutrition, exercise, and everyday health habits.
