EXTON, PA — Stories of resilience, innovation, and community impact will take center stage in Exton this May as The Wardrobe invites residents to connect with local entrepreneurs shaping the region’s future.
As part of its new Common Threads series, The Wardrobe will host a free panel discussion on Entrepreneurship and Innovation on Thursday morning at its Exton Mall location. The event is designed to spark meaningful conversation while highlighting the shared experiences that connect people working to build businesses and strengthen their communities.
The panel will feature three accomplished local leaders: Zoraida Cordero, Executive Director of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia; Cassandra Davis, entrepreneur and consultant at The Welcoming Center; and Tira Cooks, founder and designer of TiraCooks. Together, they will share personal insights on navigating challenges, defining success, and giving back.
The Common Threads series is rooted in the idea that even in divided times, people share common goals—creating opportunity, overcoming obstacles, and supporting one another. Organizers say the conversations are meant to bring community members together in a welcoming space where stories and experiences can inspire new ideas and connections.
Guests can enjoy light refreshments during the event and are invited to stay afterward to explore The Wardrobe’s Exton location, which offers affordable clothing and supports programs aimed at helping individuals achieve economic stability.
For more than three decades, The Wardrobe has worked to eliminate clothing insecurity across the Philadelphia region, providing free clothing, career coaching, and personal development resources to thousands of individuals each year. Its programs, including the Wings for Success initiative, help participants build confidence and prepare for work and everyday life.
