PHILADELPHIA, PA — NRG Energy Inc. is partnering with the Cobbs Creek Foundation with a $500,000 investment to support redevelopment of the Cobbs Creek Golf & Education Campus and expand youth programming in West Philadelphia.

The funding, which includes support from NRG’s Vivint brand, will be used to expand educational and community initiatives and incorporate energy-related technology into the site.

As part of the partnership, a central space within the Smilow Woodland TGR Learning Lab will be named the “Vivint + NRG Hub,” serving as a location for student programming and community activities.
