InterDigital Signs Patent Licensing Agreements With Buffalo, TV Maker

WILMINGTON, DE — InterDigital Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC) has signed a patent license agreement with Buffalo Americas Inc. and separate agreements with a global television manufacturer covering wireless and video technologies.

The agreement with Buffalo Americas covers network devices under InterDigital’s patent portfolio related to Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 standards.

The agreements with the television manufacturer relate to InterDigital’s high-efficiency video coding portfolio and its Madison joint licensing program with Sony.

“These agreements are further proof of the breadth of our innovation across wireless, video and AI,” said Julia Mattis, chief licensing officer at InterDigital.
