EXTON, PA — United Safety & Survivability Corporation said it has completed a recapitalization and formed a strategic partnership with Reacton Fire Suppression to expand its global fire suppression capabilities.
The company said the partnership will combine United Safety’s manufacturing and distribution network with Reacton’s engineered fire suppression systems to serve industries including mining, transportation, defense, and energy.
Reacton, a U.K.-based manufacturer with operations in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, will continue operating under its existing brands, including Reacton and Fireward, according to the announcement.
United Safety said the combined company will offer a broader range of fire suppression technologies, including water mist, liquid, dry powder, clean agent, and dual-agent systems.
“This partnership marks a defining moment in our mission to save lives and protect infrastructure around the world,” said Joseph Mirabile, chief executive officer of United Safety.
Mirabile said the combination is intended to expand the company’s global reach and improve its ability to serve customers in multiple regions.
Reacton Chief Executive Officer Sam Malins said the partnership will allow the company to scale its operations while maintaining its existing engineering approach.
“Joining forces with United Safety allows us to preserve that DNA while scaling globally,” Malins said.
United Safety said the partnership is expected to support additional investment in product development and research, as well as expanded support for multinational customers.
The company said the combined organization will operate across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas.
