WAYNE, PA — TekniPlex Healthcare said it will showcase medical materials and precision tubing technologies at the China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) 2026, as the company seeks to expand engagement with device manufacturers in China and the broader Asia-Pacific market.
The company said it will exhibit in Hall 8.1 at Booth L11 during the event, which is one of the largest medical equipment exhibitions in Asia.
TekniPlex plans to present several product solutions used in critical care and medical device manufacturing, including materials for pump tubing and catheter technologies.
“CMEF is an important platform for TekniPlex to engage with customers across China and the broader Asia region,” said Enrique Zhang, commercial director for TekniPlex China. “Against a backdrop of evolving global trade dynamics and regulatory requirements, we are focused on showcasing our expertise in medical materials and precision tubing.”
Among the technologies to be presented is a PVC material designed for pump tubing used in continuous renal replacement therapy, a treatment commonly used in intensive care units.
TekniPlex said the material is designed to support stable fluid flow during long-term continuous operation in critical care settings.
The company will also present medical silicone tubing designed for peristaltic pumps and fluid handling systems used in infusion and fluid management applications.
In addition, TekniPlex plans to display a bi-layer balloon catheter tube developed for high-pressure percutaneous transluminal angioplasty procedures, which are used to treat narrowed or blocked blood vessels.
The company said the product uses a composite structure intended to increase pressure resistance while maintaining thin wall thickness and dimensional stability.
TekniPlex said the technologies draw on the company’s manufacturing capabilities in extrusion, cleanroom production, and materials engineering to support device manufacturers meeting clinical and regulatory requirements.
The company added that its global manufacturing network, including operations in China, is intended to support medical device manufacturers serving the Asia-Pacific market.
TekniPlex Healthcare develops materials and components used in medical and diagnostic devices, drug delivery systems, and sterile healthcare packaging.
