Mullen Hospitality Management Appoints Javier Coll as President

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — Mullen Hospitality Management announced the appointment of Javier Coll as president, tasking the hospitality executive with leading the company’s third-party resort management strategy and expansion efforts.

The company said Coll will focus on repositioning and developing beach resorts under global luxury and upper-upscale hotel brands while overseeing strategic growth initiatives and operational performance across its portfolio.

Coll brings more than 30 years of experience in hospitality and real estate investment, including work on resort development projects across the Caribbean and Latin America.

“Javier is one of the most accomplished leaders in global resort development,” Chief Executive Officer Jeff Mullen said.

Mullen said Coll’s experience structuring cross-border investments and managing resort repositioning projects will support the company’s growth plans.

At Mullen Hospitality Management, Coll will also help lead capital-raising efforts for the company’s first and second investment funds focused on resort opportunities in Mexico and the Caribbean.

Before joining the company, Coll served as global head of growth for the Hyatt Inclusive Collection, a subsidiary of Hyatt Corp.

During his tenure with the organization, he held several leadership roles including group president of business development and strategy, executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Coll was also a founding partner of AMResorts and Unlimited Vacation Club, businesses that expanded the company’s resort presence across Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
