Two Arrested After Alleged Retail Theft at Wyomissing Target

WYOMISSING, PA — A reported retail theft in progress at a Wyomissing shopping center led to the arrests of two individuals following a police investigation late last month, according to the Spring Township Police Department.

Officers were dispatched January 29, 2026, to Target, located at 2769 Paper Mill Road, for a reported retail theft in progress. Upon arrival, police conducted an investigation into the allegations.

As a result of that investigation, 21-year-old Janeisy Rodriguez Tiburcio was arrested and charged with retail theft—taking merchandise—and receiving stolen property.

Police reported that during the same incident, 25-year-old Yendy Rodriguez Tiburcio was also taken into custody and charged with retail theft—taking merchandise—and receiving stolen property.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding the specific items allegedly involved or the value of the merchandise.

The charges filed in this case are allegations. As with all criminal proceedings, the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
