Quaint Oak Bank Turns 100, Launches Community Push Rooted in Local Growth

Quaint Oak Bank

SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Quaint Oak Bank marked the start of its Centennial Year, celebrating 100 years of banking shaped by resilience, long-standing relationships, and deep ties to the communities it serves.

Founded in 1926, the community bank said it is entering its second century with a renewed focus on neighborhood investment and accessibility, even as the banking industry continues to evolve through technology and changing customer needs. While tools and platforms have shifted over the decades, the bank said its core values and commitment to customers’ best interests have remained constant.

To commemorate the milestone, Quaint Oak Bank is launching a yearlong series of community-centered initiatives under its 100 Years Growing with You campaign. The effort is designed to deliver visible, lasting improvements across the communities the bank has served for generations, with an emphasis on environmental stewardship, accessibility, and neighborhood revitalization.

The campaign will begin with the planting of 100 trees in 2026, with an additional tree added for every new personal or business account opened during the year. Bank officials said the initiative reflects a broader commitment to enhancing both the beauty and accessibility of local neighborhoods, with tree planting serving as a symbolic starting point rather than the sole focus.

Tree planting is only the beginning, the bank said. The campaign’s flexible structure allows resources to be directed toward a range of projects, including public space improvements, accessibility enhancements, and other beautification efforts shaped by local needs.

“I am very pleased to announce the bank’s entrance into our Centennial Year,” said Robert T. Strong, chief executive officer of Quaint Oak Bank. He said reaching the 100-year mark reflects decades of resilience, disciplined leadership, and trust built with customers and shareholders while navigating changing and often challenging environments.

Looking ahead, Quaint Oak Bank identified its 2026 impact priorities as supporting environmental initiatives, improving public green spaces, advancing accessibility, and promoting stewardship projects that deliver tangible benefits to local communities.

Throughout the Centennial Year, the bank said it will recognize the milestone through partnerships, community initiatives, and opportunities for reflection, all grounded in the same principle that has guided the institution for a century: growth matters most when it is intentional, relationship-driven, and rooted in the communities it serves.
