Tiger BioSciences Unleashes a Bold New Dermatology Powerhouse

Tiger BioSciences

CONSHOHOCKEN, PATiger BioSciences has launched a dedicated Dermatology Division, a move that sharply broadens the company’s reach from wound care into the fast-growing world of medical and aesthetic dermatology.

The new division gives dermatologists nationwide direct access to Tiger Wound Care’s placental-derived tissue products, HealPack surgical dressings, and the Tiger Aesthetics cosmetic portfolio, pulling together medical and cosmetic offerings under one specialized umbrella. The strategy is designed to capture the natural overlap between chronic wound management, surgical recovery, and aesthetic procedures, areas where dermatologists increasingly operate across both clinical and cosmetic lines.

For Tiger, the launch represents more than a product expansion. It is a structural shift aimed at streamlining how dermatology practices obtain advanced wound and aesthetic technologies while increasing the level of scientific and clinical support behind them.

“Dermatologists are uniquely positioned at the intersection of wound and aesthetic treatments, and our new Dermatology Division is designed to meet their needs,” said Scott Madden, co-chief executive of Tiger BioSciences. “By bringing together our placental wound care technologies, HealPack surgical dressings, and our robust aesthetic product line, we’re delivering a comprehensive suite of solutions that elevate patient outcomes across the full spectrum of dermatologic care.”

The Dermatology Division will operate through its own distribution channel, supported by a field organization focused solely on dermatology practices. Tiger said the unit will also provide specialized education, expanded clinical resources, and access to the company’s scientific data, a push aimed at differentiating its offerings in a crowded market where physicians are increasingly demanding evidence-based products.

Oliver Burckhardt, Tiger’s other co-chief executive, said the company is betting that tighter integration of science, distribution, and education will give it an edge in both wound care and aesthetics.

“Our goal is to provide dermatologists with best-in-class aesthetic innovations backed by scientific and clinical data,” Burckhardt said. “This launch reflects our commitment to advancing dermatologic medicine and ensuring providers have the tools they need to deliver exceptional care, from complex wound management to restoring natural beauty and confidence.”

The move positions Tiger BioSciences to compete more aggressively in a dermatology market that is being reshaped by aging populations, rising demand for cosmetic procedures, and growing emphasis on faster, higher-quality wound healing. By consolidating its medical and aesthetic platforms into a single dermatology-focused division, the company is signaling that it intends to be a long-term player in both sides of the specialty.
