Police Seek Wilmington Man in Child Sex Case That Spans State Lines

KENNETT SQUARE, PAKennett Square Police are searching for a Wilmington, Delaware, man wanted on multiple felony charges stemming from an investigation into alleged inappropriate contact with a minor.

Authorities said Raymundo Martinez-Ramirez, 42, was charged with indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, and corruption of minors following an investigation conducted by the Kennett Square Police Department. Police allege the charges involve inappropriate contact with a minor child.

According to police, the charges were filed through Magisterial District Court 15-3-04, and an arrest warrant has been issued for Martinez-Ramirez. Investigators identified him as a resident of Wilmington, Delaware, and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating him.

Martinez-Ramirez is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police urged anyone with information regarding Martinez-Ramirez’s whereabouts to contact the Kennett Square Police Department at 610-444-0501. Authorities cautioned the public not to approach him directly.

All charges are allegations. Any suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
