MALVERN, PA — CertainTeed introduced its first Home Color Palette of the Year, unveiling a coordinated exterior collection called Coastal Current that blends blue tones with warm neutrals to give homes a refined, nature-inspired look. The palette is designed to guide homeowners, builders and designers toward cohesive color choices across siding, roofing, trim and accent materials.
Drawing inspiration from coastal landscapes, the palette incorporates six colorways: Max Def Moiré Black, Midnight Blue, Pacific Blue, Coastal Storm, Colonial White and Sterling Gray. These tones are available across multiple CertainTeed product lines, including Landmark and Solaris roofing, RISE and CERTAplank siding, Cedar Impressions Shakes & Shingles, STONEfacade accents, Restoration Millwork trim and a variety of accessories.
CertainTeed said the palette reflects a broader consumer shift toward calm, timeless colors and low-maintenance materials. The company reported increased demand in 2025 for blue and neutral exterior finishes across regions such as New England, the Mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas, a trend it expects to carry into 2026.
Bill Furman, product marketing manager for siding, said the curated palette helps simplify an otherwise overwhelming range of exterior color options. He noted that the collection encourages homeowners to visualize combinations that create a unified look across an entire home.
Summer Swingle, senior product marketing manager for residential roofing, said the new palette underscores CertainTeed’s wider commitment to durable, design-focused materials. She emphasized that long-lasting construction and visual appeal can coexist, and the Coastal Current palette demonstrates the versatility of the company’s product offerings.
