Burglars Enter Occupied West Chester Home Through Unlocked Door, Police Say

WEST CHESTER, PA — Police in West Chester are investigating a burglary that occurred early Sunday morning after suspects allegedly entered an occupied home through an unlocked front door and stole several items.

According to the West Chester Borough Police Department, officers were called to the 400 block of South Walnut Street on November 2, 2025, after residents discovered the burglary. Investigators believe the suspects entered the home around 3:00 a.m. while the occupants were inside.

Authorities said personal belongings were taken from the residence before the suspects fled. No injuries were reported, and police have not yet released a description of the individuals involved.
