PHILADELPHIA, PA — Action Wellness is gearing up to celebrate a major milestone this fall as it kicks off the 30th anniversary season of GayBINGO!, one of Philadelphia’s most beloved and inclusive fundraising events. The monthly event returns to Congregation Rodeph Shalom on North Broad Street, running from September 6, 2025, through June 13, 2026.
More than just a game night, GayBINGO! has grown into a vibrant tradition, known for its high-energy themes, dazzling performances by the Bingo Verifying Divas (BVDs), and community-driven fundraising to support individuals living with HIV.
“This year signifies a remarkable milestone celebrating three decades of supporting individuals living with HIV, while providing a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all participants,” said Mary Evelyn Torres, Executive Director of Action Wellness. She credited the sustained success of the event to its dedicated volunteers, sponsors, longtime attendees, and the show-stopping BVDs.
Each GayBINGO! event offers a unique themed experience—ranging from pop culture tributes to nostalgic throwbacks—with games, musical numbers, and appearances from community sponsors and local leaders. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and bingo begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $50 and now available through the newly launched Action Wellness website. Table sponsorships and group packages can be secured by calling the organization directly.
Looking ahead, Action Wellness also announced a schedule change for its signature gala, Black-Tie GayBINGO!, which will move to the fall season in 2026. The 27th annual edition is set for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel.
Since its inception in 1996, GayBINGO! has been a cornerstone of Action Wellness’ community outreach and fundraising strategy. The event has served not only to generate vital funds, but also to foster visibility, acceptance, and joy for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
“We are deeply honored to continue this legacy,” said Torres. “But our work is far from over. Now more than ever, we need the public’s support as we continue to serve and uplift those in our community living with HIV.”
