Housed in a compact 3.5 mm by 2.8 mm by 1.4 mm PLCC-6 surface-mount package, the new LED features separate anode and cathode connections for each of its red, green, and blue chips. Engineered for demanding environments, the VLMRGB6122.. operates across an extended temperature range from -40 °C to +110 °C—25 °C higher than standard offerings—and features Class B1 corrosion robustness. It is AEC-Q102 qualified, ensuring high reliability for automotive use, and offers robust ESD protection up to 2 kV for the red chip and up to 8 kV for blue and green, meeting JESD22-A114-B standards.
