Artesian Resources Appoints Financial Veteran Chip Rossi to Board of Directors

NEWARK, DEArtesian Resources Corporation (Nasdaq: ARTNA) has announced the appointment of Salvatore J. “Chip” Rossi to its Board of Directors, strengthening its leadership with a seasoned executive known for expertise in financial management and risk oversight.

Rossi brings more than three decades of experience from Bank of America, where he most recently served as president of Bank of America Delaware and led the Prepaid Card Unemployment Programs. Throughout his tenure, he held various senior roles, including Global Compliance and Operational Risk Operations executive and Chief Risk Officer for the Consumer and Global Wealth & Investment Management divisions.

In these positions, Rossi was instrumental in integrating business lines, supporting economic mobility, and enhancing community resilience. His focus on bridging client needs with institutional capabilities positioned him as a key leader in advancing both corporate strategy and community development initiatives.

“Chip’s background in financial management and risk oversight well positions him as a new independent member of our Board of Directors and financial expert on the Audit Committee,” said Nicki Taylor, Chair, President, and CEO of Artesian. Taylor also noted that Rossi’s deep understanding of the Delaware community aligns with Artesian’s ongoing expansion of water and wastewater services across the state.

Beyond his corporate career, Rossi has an extensive record of civic engagement. He serves on the boards of Delaware State University, ChristianaCare, The Grand Opera House, and REACH Riverside. Additionally, he is a member of the Delaware State Chamber Board of Governors and the Delaware Business Roundtable.
