MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has confirmed that bridge repair will take place next week on westbound I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County. This project is a critical part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the state’s transportation infrastructure.

The repair work will necessitate a single lane closure on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 from Monday, February 24, through Thursday, February 27. Lane closures will occur nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning to minimize daytime traffic disruptions. Motorists are urged to allow additional travel time when passing through the area, as backups and delays are anticipated.
