Bucks County Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Tequila Theft Suspect

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Central Bucks Regional Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in identifying a man suspected of stealing two bottles of Casamigos Reposado Tequila from a local Wine and Spirits Shoppe.

According to the police, the incident occurred on December 29, 2023, around 2:00 PM at the liquor store located at 132 Veterans Lane in Doylestown. The stolen tequila is valued at approximately $107.

The suspect, captured in surveillance footage, is alleged to have concealed two bottles of tequila in his waistband before making a separate purchase and exiting the store. He was seen wearing a black knit hat, a black puffy jacket, and dark pants at the time of the alleged theft.

Further adding to the description, authorities believe the suspect may be driving a tan Buick Lacrosse.

Central Bucks Regional Police are encouraging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to submit a tip or contact Officer DiBenedetto at 215-345-4143.

As investigations continue, the police department reminds the public that the information provided is subject to change as more details emerge. It is also important to note that the identification of a suspect, the filing of a criminal complaint, or an arrest does not equate to a declaration of guilt. Under the law, an individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
