CHESTER COUNTY, PA — According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, snow is expected to develop on Saturday morning in Chester County. The snow should change to sleet and then rain Saturday afternoon. Light snow accumulation is possible.
Snow is likely before 1 pm on Saturday, then mixed with sleet between 1 pm and 4 pm, and then rain and snow, possibly mixed with sleet after 4 pm. The temperature will be near 28. There will be a light southeastern wind at 5 to 10 mph in the morning. The chance of precipitation is 100%. Predicted new snow and sleet accumulation is 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday night will include rain, snow, and sleet before 10 pm, then a chance of rain between 10 pm and 4 am, and a chance of rain and snow after 4 am. The low will be around 31, with a south wind at 11 to 14 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80%. Predicted new snow and sleet accumulation is less than a half-inch possible.
There is also a chance of snow on Sunday before 7 am. After, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 37 and a west wind at 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. The chance of precipitation is 30% and little or no snow accumulation expected.
